Research progress on the study of bioactive peptides from shellfish proteins and peptidomics

  • Marine shellfish as a widely accessible protein resource consumed worldwide shows significant promise as potential resource of food-derived peptides. The current work addresses the concept and research process of biological active peptide from marine shellfish proteins. Moreover, important challenges and the most realistic options in the utilization of peptidomics were evaluated, aimed to development of marine shellfish protein resources and their bioactive peptides.
