Clinical assessment on Bama nature spring water in adjuvant therapy of hyperuricemia

  • To evaluate the efficacy and safty of Bama nature spring water in the treatment of hyperuricemia. 123 patients with hyperuricemia were randomly divided into 60 patients of treatment group(treatment with Bama nature spring water) and 63 patients of control group(treatment with purified water),respectively. During 90 days treatment,related indexs were tested at different stage. The results showed:after 90 days treatment,the total efficiency of treatment group(47.1%) was superior to control group(32.0%),and could significantly reduce the level of serumd uric acid(p<0.05). However,other parameters such as TC,TG,HDL,LDL,fasting bloodglucose,ALT,AST,and BUN had no difference before and after treatment,and no side effect was observed in the test. The results suggested that Bama nature spring water could reduce uric acid in hyperuricemia without side effect.
