Protective effect on liver injury induced by CCl4 in mice of Yam selenium polysaccharide

  • Object: To investigate the protective effect on acute liver injury induced by CCl4 in mice of yam selenium polysaccharide.Method: ALT、AST、ALP、γ- GT、ALB、TP levels in serum and GSH、MDA levels in liver tissues were examined.In addition,pathologic changes were examined by HE staining. Results: The ALT,AST,ALP,ALB in serum and MDA,GSH in liver tissue of the high dose group of Yam selenium polysaccharide were lower than the model group and compared with the control group there was no significant difference,and the figure showed that there was significant difference betwen middle dose and modle group,also between middle dose and control group. In the treatment group,middle and high dose could significantly improve the pathological tissue injury ginduced by CCl4,and better than the low dose and the Chinese yam polysaccharide treatment roup.Conclusion:Yam selenium polysaccharide had a protective effect on acute liver injury induced by CCl4 and strengthened with the increase its concentration.
