Research progress of bio-preservatives from plants for aquatic products preservation

  • In this paper, the application progress of several bio-preservatives from plants such as tea polyphenols, rosemary extract and thymol on the aquatic products were summarized. The main problems of bio-preservatives from plants on preservation for aquatic products were analyzed systematically and their application prospects were outlooked. It would provide the theoretical basis for the research on the application of bio-preservatives from plants in aquatic products preservation.
