Induction on the Manganese Peroxidase of white-rot fungi by exogenous inducers and interspecific induction

  • The study investigated the Mn P activity of Trametes versicolor,Pleurotus ostreatus,Dichomitus squalens,Bjerkandera adusta by two kinds of induction, exogenous inducer and interspecific induction between different fungi, and discovered that in some induction condition, these white- rot fungi could produce large amounts of Mn P.The results showed that in exogenous inducers,2,5- dimethylaniline was an effective Mn P inducer, which could enhance Mn P activity of four fungi to different extent.Isopropyl alcohol could enhance Mn P activity of T.versicolor,P.ostreatus and D.squalens, and it was better than that of ethanol.Cu2 +could significantly enhance Mn P activity of T.versicolor and D. squalens. Mn2 +could significantly enhance Mn P activity of P. ostreatus and B. adusta. When induced by interspecific induction between different fungi by co- cultivation,T. versicolor,P. ostreatus and D.squalenss could strongly enhance Mn P activity each other. The study provided possibility for large production of Mn P and being applied to industry.
