Advances on extraction technologies of plant genomic DNA in food

  • How to acquire high purity and quantity plant genomic DNA in food has been an important step in genetically modified organisms( GMOs) detection. Several main extraction methods of plant genomic DNA were reviewed in this paper. The discussions were mainly focused on the advantages and disadvantages of several methods and the current status and perspectives of plant genomic DNA extraction technology in food,in order to supply some information for establishing the effective plant genomic DNA extraction method in food.
