Effect of protein hydrolysates from Zophobs morio on learning and memory and anti fatigue abilities of mice

  • To investigate the effect of different doses of Zophobs morio protein hydrolysates on learning, memory and anti fatigue abilities,KM mice were intragastric administrated 30 days' protein hydrolysates, through using Morris water- maze, climbing pole experiment and weight loading swimming test. Results showed that the incubation period of the control group without being administrated whose reaction times was 19.7% ~164.3% less than the low, middle and high dose groups was 17.2% ~62.8% longer than the other groups in the Morris watermaze, while the incubation period and reaction times of the middle dose group differed significantly from the control group( p < 0.01).At the same time, the control group 's score of weight loading swimming test was 1.9% ~16.4% lower than the other three groups and climbing pole experiment test was 6.2% ~29.8% lower in the climbing pole experiment and weight loading swimming test, and the middle dose group got the significant higher results extremely than the low and high dose group( p < 0.01).It suggested that Zophobs morio protein hydrolysates could enhance mice's learning, memory and anti fatigue abilities which was significantly associated with the dosage intragastric administrated,of which moderate dosage( 1.67 g /( kg·d)) was thought to be the most appropriate.
