Research progress in the phage display technology mapping epitope for major food allergens

  • Phage display technology is a screening technology in vitro. Since the technique has achieved the unification of the gene and its corresponding protein in vitro,it has widely used in many fields such as life sciences,medication and so on. At present,the main phage display systems include filamentous phage display system,λ phage display system,T4 phage display system and T7 phage display system. The phage display technology and its application in identifying of eight categories food antigenic epitopes was reviewed in this paper.
