Study on the preparation of electrolyzed water with no- membrane generating device

  • The effects of different operating conditions( concentration of hydrochloric acid,sodium chloride concentration,electrolysis voltage,electrolysis current,electrolysis time and the distance between electrode plates) on the p H and available chlorine concentration of acidic electrolyzed water were investigated with the laboratory- made electrolyzed water generator. The results showed that p H decreased with the increase of the concentration of hydrochloric acid( concentration in the range of 0 ~ 0.01701%) which had no significant effect on available chlorine concentration. Moreover,the increase of the concentration of sodium chloride or electrolysis voltage had no significant effect on the p H,but increased the available chlorine concentration. Electrolytic current had no significant influence on the p H and available chlorine concentration. In addition,with the extension of the electrolysis time,p H and the available chlorine concentration grew and the increase of the distance between electrode plates made the p H and available chlorine concentration decreased. This experiment provided actual production technical support for the non- membrane- type electrolyzed water generator in further research and application.
