Effects of polysaccharides from Chinese rice wine on immunity correlating cytokines of immunodeficient mice

  • The effects of polysaccharides from Chinese rice wine on immunity correlating cytokines of immunodeficient mice were studied. Sixty mice were divided into six groups:blank control, negative control (NC) , cyclophosphamide (CY) , polysaccharides from Chinese rice wine (50, 100, 200mg/kg) . The S180 ascites sarcoma mice models were established by transplanting the ascites sarcoma cell suspension in the mice left anterior subcutaneous part. After 24 hour, the mice in CY group and CRWP groups were peritoneally fed with CY and polysaccharides from Chinese rice wine and by gavage once a day for 10 days, and that in blank control group and negative control group were fed with same volume physical saline. And the effects of polysaccharides from Chinese rice wine on immunity organ was evaluated by immune organ index, and that on S180 cells in vivo was evaluated by the tumor weight of tumor-beating mice and the tumor inhibition rate. The expression of Ki-67 and Cyclin D1 was determined by immunohistochemistry. This results indicated that polysaccharides from Chinese rice wine might increase the index of spleen and thymus and the anti-tumor rate for S180-bearing mice. It indicated that the higher doses of polysaccharides from Chinese rice wine, the better improvement effect of immune organ index and the expression of Ki-67 and Cyclin D1 protein. Polysaccharides from Chinese rice wine had the antitumor effects probably by improving the immune function of immunodeficient mice.
