A discussion on the approval of probiotics health food in China

  • Probiotics health food is a special category of functional foods in China and expected to have a bright future of industry and market. In order to promote the development and standardization of probiotics industry, the relevant laws and regulations of probiotic health food were systematically analyzed. Especially, the key issue regarding to regulations and some improvemental ideas were indicated. It is expected that those points of views provide a reference to formulate related policy, legal and legislation documents in future.
