Screening of high-yield polysaccharide Athelia rolfsii by UV and NTG

  • High-yield polysaccharide Athelia Rolfsii from original Athelia Rolfsii preserved in laboratory was screened by UV and NTG. The data showed that the increasing rate of polysaccharide production was 10.70%from a strain by UV mutagenesis and 15.78% from a strain by NTG mutagenesis. X2 with stable polysaccharide production was obtainded by NTG combined with UV. The polysaccharide production from X2 was 19.868g/L.The increasing rate of polysaccharide production from X2 was 23.85%.
