Development of protein reference materials

  • The study of reference materials is an important research topic of organization for standardization both domestic and international.According to ISO Guide 35 and JJF 1006-1994 " Technical Norm of Primary Reference Material" from the International Organization for Standardization, preparing protein reference materials were reviewed in this paper. Owing to its unique biological characteristics, protein reference materials is unstable in surrounding, so its physical and chemical properties should be well characterized besides quantification.In order to achieve the data traceability, homogeneity, stability, the protein reference materials should be available with low uncertainty.
