Purification technology of protodioscin from Trigonella foenum-graecum L. by macroporous resin

  • To optimize the separation and purification technology of protodioscin from Trigonella foenum-graecum L. by macroporous resin, and explore the effective way of purification protodioscin. protodioscin content was used as the index to choose macroporous adsorption resin and determine the optimal process parameters.HP-20 macroporous adsorption resin had the best performance for separation and purification of protodioscin.The process parameter was:the ratio of the resin to crude drug was 8 ∶1, the flow speed for adsorption was4BV/h, the ratio of diameter to height was 1∶12, the flow speed was 10BV/h, the eluent was 70% ethanol, eluent dose at 3BV. The optimized extract craft is stable with good reproducibility, and could be used for practical production.
