Analysis of resource value of edible insect

  • Edible insect is rich in species, nutritive value and medicinal value. It is the precious resources that mankind could fully utilize. It was also the research focus of exploitation and industrialization of insect food. The resource value and processing methods of edible insect, including insect species, nutritive value, and medicinal value, were summarized in this article.Besides, the research problems of edible insect were also analyzed, and the research directions of the insect were looked forward in this article.
