Determination of 21 mineral elements in celery and parsley by microwave digestion-ICP-OES

  • A method was set up to analyze the mineral elements in celery and parsley by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer ( ICP- OES) . After the sample was prepared by wet microwave digestion procedure with HNO3+ H2O2, 21 mineral elements including Na, K, Ca, S, P, Mg, Al, Si, Fe, Zn, Sr, Mn, B, V, Ba, Cu, Ga, Cr, Ti, Cd and Pb in celery and parsley were determined by ICP-OES.The detective limits were in the range of1.0~440μg /L.The RSD of results was between 0.11% and 10.7%.The recovery rate of standard sample was from89.0% to 109.6%.These results provided basic data for further developing and applying of the Celery.
