Preliminary analysis on bacterial communities in GuJingGong pit mud through culture-free approach

  • 16S rDNA clone library technique was conducted to analyze the bacterial community diversity in pit mud of GuJingGong liquor. All clone strains were classified to 56 OTUs. Of all the 793 clones, 60.78% were unknown species, and 5 sequences ( 0.63%) could not be found any information in Genebank. The known bacteria belonged to Firmicutes ( 31.16%) , Proteobacteria ( 3.55%) , Bacteroidetes ( 3.79%) , Synergistetes ( 0.63%) and Actinobacteria ( 0.13%) .Most of the known bacteria were also found as uncultured, of which, Firmicutes was the majority.Half of Firmicutes bacteria require further verification since they had a relatively low similarity in BLAST analysis.
