Research progress in chemical composition and pharmacology of siraitia grosvenori swingle

  • Siraitia grosvenori swingle (SG) , a traditional Chinese meidicine ingrediendt, is unique to China and belongs to the cucurbitaceous vine species. Modern researches showed that SG contains mogrosides, flavonoids and grease which had special biologically activities. Analysis and identification of the chemical constituents, pharmacology, fine processing and applications of siraitia grosvenori swingle (SG) were summarized in this paper, which were useful reference materials for utilizing of SG, especially as a pharmaceutical material.
