Effect of chuju polysaccharides on anti-fatigue and hypoxia tolerance in mice

  • Objective:To observe the effect of chuju polysaccharides on anti-fatigue, hypoxia tolerance in mice.Methods:60 male mice were randomly divided into control group, hongjingtian gelatin capsule group and chuju polysaccharides high-dose, middle-dose, low-dose group, 12 mice in each group, all mice were administered by oral administration, once a day for 5 consecutive days, effect of chuju polysaccharides on loaded-swimming time, blood lactic acid (BLA) , blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and hepatic glycogen (HG) , respiration frequency, respiration maintenance time, oxygen deficiency survival time were observed in mice.Results:Chuju polysaccharides could significantly prolong the loaded-swimming time, decrease the content of BLA and BUN, increase the the content of HG, increase respiration frequency, prolong respiration maintenance time and oxygen deficiency survival time comparing with control group. Conclusion:Chuju polysaccharides had the effect of anti-fatigue and enhancing hypoxia tolerance.
