  • Rhodotorula glutinis is a kind of oleaginous fungi and its oil can be used to produce biodiesel.In this review, progress in microbial oil produced by R.glutinis in terms of lab-media, cheap waste media and methods of promoting accumulating more oil were summarized.And the issues and directions for further development of R.glutinis in producing oil were also discussed.
