Study on education improvement for college students specialized in food science based on IFT professional certification

  • Education reform for undergraduate in food science filed was explored in term of faculty, facilities, curriculum and its implement, evaluation. It is aimed to enhancing the education quality of food science, promoting continued excellence in food science education and facilitating the approval of undergraduate food science program by IFT. In this process, core competencies in food science and performance assessments based on learning outcomes are the core elements of food science program.
