Optimization of fermentation parameter for prodigiosin by ZY-H bacterium

  • The production prodigiosin conditions of ZY- H bacterium were optimized by orthogonal experiment.The results showed that the optimal culture medium composition was determined as sucrose 10g /L, peptone 15g /L, calcium chloride 0.025mol /L; the optimum conditions of fermentation was as follows: the initial pH 6, inoculum size 4%, liquid volume 30mL /250 flask, temperature 28℃, 180r /min shaking cultivated 48h, the content of prodigiosin reached 28.37g /L, which was 19.57 times and 43.11 times higher than PDA medium and beef extract peptone medium, and the difference between them was extremely significance ( p < 0.01) .The results for prodigiosin expression would provide technical information for industrial production of prodigiosin.
