Optimization of extraction technology of siraitia seed oil

  • The extraction technology of siraitia seed using ethanol as solvent was investigated. Effects of parameters, such as material/liquid ratio, extraction temperature and extraction time on the extraction efficiency of siraitia seed oil were discussed by single and orthogonal experiments, and the optimal conditions were established. Results showed that the optimal conditions were as follows : material / liquid ratio 1 ∶ 10g / mL, extraction time 120min and extraction temperature 70℃. The average extraction yield of siraitia seed oil was 11.11% under the optimal conditions.
