Advances in improving the vitamin C content of fruits and vegetables

  • With improved standards of living, nutrition and health problem had been paid more and more attention. Vitamin C as an important role in human nutrition had attracted a lot of attention.So it had become one of the hot a research for horticultural field to increase the content of vitamin C in fruits and vegetables.In this paper, fruit and vegetable cultivation resource selection, several breeding, cultivation and management method, soil composition and biological technology and other aspects were analyzed, the current research situation at home and abroad was reviewed to improve vitamin C content of fruits and vegetables, in addition to these, it also introduced and summarized the methods to increase the content of vitamin C, and put forward the method of improving fruit vitamin C.
