A new method on determination of the total sugar content in edible fungi

  • The total sugar content is an important indicator of edible fungi.Spectrophotometer is always used to detect the total sugar content in national standard method.In this paper, the total sugar in edible fungi was determined by microplate method and national standard method, and these results were accordant with each other.The new methods consumed less reagent and time, and they were reproducible.90 samples could be detected in 1min by microplate method.
