Optimization of liquid culture of Hericium erinaceum in medium with extract of rice bran

  • To make efficient use of the rice bran and to get mushroom mycelium polysaccharides, Hericium erinaceum was used to ferment rice bran to product polysaccharides.Hericium erinaceum was fermented in liquid medium with extract of rice bran and the medium components and culture conditions were investigated through single-factor experiment.By Box-Behnken experiments, in which Glucose 20g/L, KH2PO4 1.5g/L, MgSO4 0.75g/L, inoculation volume 10%, pH5.0, culture time 7d, temperature 28℃ were fixed, concentration of rice bran, peptone concentration and loading volume were optimized.The optimal value were 23.3g/L, 9.8g/L and 150mL (250mL flask) respectively.The optimal dry weight of mycelium was 11.28g/L.
