According to the previous studies, ginseng saponin can be converted into a variety of rare ginsenoside in vitro.They played the key role of pharmacological activity in vivo substances.The microbial transformation and solid -state fermentation technology is the basis for industrial production of rare ginsenoside.In this paper, the studies on ginsenoside biotransformation research survey and ginseng solid fermentation process were explored, and the existing problems and the main development direction of ginseng biotransformation were forecasted
