Optimization of medial components and cultural conditions gloeostereum incarnatum

  • The effects of medial component and cultural conditions on biomass and antibacterial activity of fermented Gloeostereum incarnatum JX2010 strain were studied. The results of medium single factor screening tests showed that the best carbon source and nitrogen source were corn starch and soybean powder respectively; the best formula of culture medium were 4.6% corn starch, 1.6% soybean powder, 0.03% MgSO4 , 0.03% KH2PO4 , 0.01% K2HPO4 , 0.001% ZnSO4, 0.001% MnSO4 and 0.1mg /L VB 1 by Uniform design method. Culturing in this optimized medium for 7d with 10% inoculums size, 20% of flask liquid volume and 5.5 of initial pH of the culture medium, the highest biomass of the fermented Gloeostereum incarnatum was ( 14.98 ± 0.74 ) g /L and the bacteriostatic diameter was ( 16.7 ± 0.5) mm.
