Study on synthesis and antibacterial activity of dihydromyricetin-Ni complexes

  • Dihydromyricetin-Ni (Ⅱ) was prepared with using dihydromyricetin and Ni (CH3COO) 2 .The compex was characterized by UV spectra, IR spectra and TGA spectra.The antibacterial activity of the dihydromyricetin and the complex were compared by tube double dilution method.The results showed that the synthetic product was confirmed as dihydromyricetin-nickel complexes.The complexes showed strong bacteriostatic and bactericidal effect.The minimum antimicrobial dosage of dihydromyricetin-Ni (Ⅱ) against Candida albicans was 6.25~12.5μg/mL and the germicidal dosage was 6.25~25μg/mL.The results showed dihydromyricetin-Ni (Ⅱ) against Candida albicans was stronger than that of dihydromyricetin, but not obvious inhibitory effect on bacteria.
