Application of multi-walled carbon nanotubes in solid-phase extraction technique

  • As a novel nanomaterial, multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) possess peculiar structures and superior chemistry stability, thermal stability and high specific surface area, which could be considered as one of the ideal absorption materials.In this paper, the synthesis of MWCNTs, the applications of MWCNTs in separation and enrichment of pesticide residues, metal ions, compounds of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHS) , etc were reviewed so as to provide references to the further applications of the technology of solid phase extraction of MWCNTs.
