Analysis of volatile compounds in Turbot by SPME with different extraction fibers

The volatile compounds in turbot were extracted by headspace solid phase microextraction (HS-SPME) with PDMS/DVB, CAR/PDMS and DVB/CAR/PDMS fibers and analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS ) . The results showed that total 81 volatile compounds were identified. Among the identified compounds , aldehydes , ketones , alcohols , alkenes , alkanes and amines were predominant. There were 51 , 37 and 29 kinds of volatiles extracted by DVB / CAR / PDMS , PDMS / DVB and CAR / PDMS fiber respectively. And the volatile compounds extracted by DVB/CAR/PDMS fiber had highest total peak areas and most varieties. Therefore, the DVB/CAR/PDMS fiber was the most suitable for extracting volatile compounds in turbot.
