Resarch progress in rapid detection of Listeria monocytogenes in fresh agricultural products

  • Listeria monocytogenes is one of foodborne pathogens. The fatality rate of listeriosis which is caused by Listeria monocytogenes is up to 30%. For further research of Listeria monocytogenes, the biological characteristics and virulence factors of Listeria monocytogenes were discussed in this paper. Moreover, several rapid detection methods based on molecular biology and immunology were reviewed.
