Determination of aldicarb and isoprocarb in cucumber using matrix solid-phase dispersion extraction and HPLC

  • A Liquid Chromatography method was established for determination of aldicarb and isoprocarb in cucumber by matrix solid-phase dispersion extraction using florisil as sorbent. The effect of the kinds of eluent, the amount of eluent and the ratio of sample to absorbent were studied, and then the suitable method was found. The recoveries of aldicarb and isoprocarb were 87. 12% ~ 90. 60%, and the limits of detector were from 0. 099μg/mL to 0. 82μg/mL, respectively. This method was simple, fast, accurate and sensitive, it can meet the requirement for determining aldicarb and isoprocarb in cucumber samples.
