  • The major reason that has raised the issue of food safety is the emergence of lemon phenomenon in the food market caused by an information asymmetry problem existing between food producers and consumers.By drawing on the theory of lemon market, this paper analyzed the information asymmetry problem having an existence in food market, and explored a growing tendency towards Chinese food safety supervision system.
