Study on the adsorption performance of molecular imprinting cross-linked chitosan resin on cadmium

  • The objective of this study was using molecular imprinting cross-linked chitosan resin (MICCR) as basic material, to investigate MICCR on heavy metal adsorption properties of Cd (Ⅱ) , to examine the effect of the pH on the adsorption properties of MICCR, and to test the repeated adsorption performance of MICCR.Results showed that:the adsorption capacity of MICCR on Cd (Ⅱ) was 170.4mg/g, the optimal pH of MICCR adsorption on Cd (Ⅱ) was 4.5, the adsorption conformed to the second-order dynamic model better, and the adsorption rate was 6.97g·g~ (-1) ·h~ (-1) .The cross-linked reaction and molecular imprinting technique improved the adsorption properties of chitosan adsorbent, and the adsorption performance of MICCR on cadmium was stable.
