Mathematical simulation on forced-air pre-cooling of mango

  • The central temperature of mangoes under different conditions was analyzed using multiple nonlinear regressions.The relationship between air velocity and cooling coefficient was calculated and then a semi-empirical mathematical model for precooling was developed.The model could be used in predicting the rule of mango precooling, suggested by 0.98 of square correlation coefficient.
