Wisteria was widely distributed all over our country.It was not only a famous ornamental plant, but also rich in bioactive components.Therefore it had very important application values.In this view, the active components in different parts (flowers, seeds, galls, leaves, stems) of Wisteria were discussed, and application status in the fields of medicine, industry, biological pesticides, food and so on were outlined.The future of research was discussed.It provided reference for development and utilization of active components in Wisteria.
