Optimization of technology conditions in preparation of calcium lactate from cuttlefish bone

  • Cuttlefish bone is rich in calcium and it is a good kind of calcium resource.To develop and make reasonable use of cuttlefish bone, the optimal technology conditions of preparation of calcium lactate from cuttlefish bone and lactic acid was studied by using single-factor and orthogonal test. The result showed:in the condition of temperature 80℃, 85% lactic acid quantity 4.34mL and reaction time 80min, the mass of white calcium lactate crystal was the largest from 2.50g cuttlefish bone powder after reaction, evaporation, crystallization, washing and drying. The calcium extraction yield was 85.24%.
