Study on the manufacturing process of Salvia plebeia R.Br.healthy tea

  • A new type of healthy drink “Salvia plebeia R.Br.Healthy Tea” was developed on the basis of this study.It took Salvia plebeia R.Br.harvested respectively before stooling stage, before flowering period and after its flowering and fruiting period as raw materials.The study focused on the manufacturing process of raw material screening, protecting color, and drying.The result showed that the best raw material should be taken before stooling stage and the manufacturing process should go through impurity removal, shaping, microwave protecting color (480W, 150s) , rolling (15min) , drying (102℃, 140min) , cooling and packaging.Then we could get the perfect Salvia plebeia R.Br.healthy tea with ideal quality.
