Rapid determination of pesticides residues in fruits and vegetables by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry

  • A rapid method for the simultaneous determining of 10 pesticides residues ( dimethoate, acephate, dimethoxon, monocrotophos, carbofuran, acetochlor, methamidophos, carbosulfan, alphamethrin, famoxadone) in fruits and vegetables by Gas chromatography /Mass spectrometry in selected ion monitoring was developed.With the optimal chromatogram conditions, the good linearities were obtained ranging from 0.05mg /kg to 0.5mg /kg for ten pesticides. The detection limits of ten pesticides were from 1.6μg /kg to 15.3μg /kg.The average recoveries ranged from 70% to 125% at two spiked levels ( 0.2mg /kg and 0.4mg /kg) .The relative standard deviations ( RSD) were less than 15.5%.
