Study on the method for determining the entrapment efficiency of coix seed oil liposomes

  • Objective:To establish a method for the determination of entrapment efficiency of coix seed oil liposomes. Methods:The coix seed oil was separated with dialysis method, and determined by ultraviolet spectrophotometry. Results :The parameters of measurement process were :dialysis equilibrium time 16h , alcohol as demulsifier, petroleum ether as solvent, ultrasonic time 30min and ultraviolet detector at 235nm. Coix seed oil liposomes had a good linearity with in the range of 0 ~13μg/mL, R 2 =0.9981. The precision tests of separating method was 1.81% , the average recovery was 98.68% , RSD=1.98%. Conclusion:The method was simple feasible, and had a good accurace. It was suitable for determining the entrapment efficiency of coix seed oil liposomes.
