  • Because of its extensive pharmacological effects and good safety, it is used widely in both food industry and medicine industry. The introduction of a variety of new extraction technology and improvement of traditional extraction method for extracting effective components in Cassia obtusifolia L. seed, the discoveries of its new pharmacological effects through animal experiments and clinical studies, and the development of its functional food in recent years had been summarized in this article, so that it could be further developed and utilized.
