A review on preparation of functional peptides from aquatic products by enzymatic hydrolysis in China

  • Aquatic resources in China are abundant, and the preparation of functional peptides from aquatic products has become the research focus in the field of deep processing of aquatic resources. The preparation technology of the function aquatic peptides was summarized, and mainly reviewed the research progress of the functional peptides (antioxidant peptides, antifatigue peptides, antimicrobial peptides, antitumor peptides, antihypertensive peptides and antilipemic peptides) from aquatic products by enzymatic hydrolysis in China during recent years. Finally, the prospect of the future trends in this field was discussed, so as to provide references for the preparation of functional peptides from aquatic resources.
