Flavonoids extracted from Quercus acutissima Carr. leaves purification and inhibit the activity of α-glucosidase

  • The macroporous resins was selected to study the purification of the flavonoids from Quercus acutissima Carr. leaves and inhibitory activities against α-glucosidase. Screening was performed to choose the best resin by comparing the resins static dynamic adsorption experiments. The results indicated that X-5 macroporous resins had better adsorption and desorption property for purification. The bsst condition of X-5 macroporous resins was initial solution concentration about 52.79μg·mL-1, initial solution amount 50mL, the sample speed at 0.5mL·min-1, pH5.0. the elution solvent 30mL of 95% ethanol the flow rate at 1.0mL·min-1.Under above condition, the purity of flavonoids could reach to 58.33%. Flavonoids of Quercus acutissima Carr.leaves showed potent inhibitory activities against α-glucosidase with IC50values of about 13.11μg/mL.
