Determination of a-solanine in drinking water by flow-injection chemiluminescence system of luminol and potassium ferricyanide

  • In order to establish a new method for rapid determination of a-solanine, a flow-injection chemiluminescence (FI-CL) system of luminol and potassium ferricyanide was developed.Results indicated that the CL reaction betweeen luminol and potassium ferricyanide was significantly reduced by a-solanine.An excellent linear range for a-solanine determination was 8.0×10-4~1.0×10-1mg/mL under the optimal condition.The limit detection of a-solanine was 6.09×10-5mg/mL and relative standard deviation for the determination was 2.1% (n=11) .This method showed the advantages of simple operation, high degree of automation, easy to run on-line and real-time warning detection, and could be used as a rapid method for determination of a-solanine in drinking water.
