Research advances in starch esters

  • Esterified starch is a chemically or enzymatically modified starch.The recent progress of the preparation,properties,and application in citrate starch,long-chain fatty acid esters of starch,starch sodium alkeylsccinate,acetate starch,phosphorylated starch,and sulfate starch were reviewed.The prospect in esterified starches was also discussed,which would present relevant information for further study.
