Effect of different nutrient elements on the seed vigor and antioxidation index in sweet corn

  • Seed vigor and antioxidation index influenced by different nutrient elements were analysed on super sweet corn.The result showed that the germination potential were significant after Mn2+, Zn2+, K+ soaking and the seed germination rate was significant after K+ soaking and the germination and vigor index after Mn2+, K+ soaking were improved and the germination and vigor index after Zn2+ soaking were reduced.The SOD, POD, CAT activity of sweet corn in germination were firstly improved and then decreased which the concentration of different nutrient were 0.110mmol/L and the sensitivity of oxidase of different nutrients were different.The MDA contents of sweet corn were improved and the dethydrogenase activity was showed upward and then downward trend with increasing concentration which the dethydrogenase activity in 1.00mmol/L of K+ soaking and in 10.00mmol/L Zn2+, Mn2+ soaking were supreme.
