Optimization of fermentation process on a fibrinolytic enzyme from Enterococcus faecalis EF608

  • The optimum fermentation conditions for the fibrinolysin from Enterococcus faecalis EF608 were investigated. The results showed that the optimal fermentation condition were as the following:2% glucose, 0.75% peptone, 0.75% beef extract, 0.5% yeast extract, 1% K2HPO4·3H2O, 0.2% NaCl, 0.02% MgSO4·7H2O, initial pH7.5, temperature 37℃, 15% of medium volume and 6% of inoculums, incubation time for 10h.Under these conditions, the fibrinolytic enzyme activity of the fermented broth have reached 1833IU/mL.
