Study on chrysanthemum flavones purification technology by inorganic ceramic micro-filtration membrane

  • Objective:To separate and purify flavones from chrysanthemum extract solution by inorganic ceramic micro-filtration membrane, the optimal operation condition were researched.Methods:Experiments were designed by chrysanthemum flavones extract rate and flux stability as the evaluating indicator and used three factors to optimize which were operation of pressure, solution temperature and membrane specifications.Results:The optimum technology was inorganic ceramic micro-filtration membrane which pore size was 0.5μm, temperature of extract solution was 50℃ and operation pressure was 0.30MPa.Under these conditions, it could achieve better effect of purification and clarification on chrysanthemum flavonoids, the metastasis rate of chrysanthemum flavonoids was about 90%, the flavonoids content of extracted solids was about 19.81%, and the purification process was stable.Conclusion:The process of membrane technology purifying chrysanthemum flavones was simple and reliable.
