Abstract:
Objective: To study separation and purification of flavonoids from the leaves of Juniperus sabina L.by high- speed counter- current chromatography( HSCCC).Methods: Solvent system of chloroform∶ methanol∶ n- butanol∶water( 4∶ 3∶ 0.5∶ 2) was employed,the upper phase as stationary phase,the lower phase as mobile phase,a flowrate of 2.0 m L / min,the rotation speed 850 r / min and detection wavelength 254 nm,flavonoids from Juniperus sabina L.were isolated and purified under this condition.Results: Three compounds were separated from the leaves of Juniperus sabina L.as isoquercitrin( a,91.89%),quercitrin( b,98.45%),quercetin-3- O-( 6″- O- acetyl)-β- Dglucopyranoside( c,95.35%),of which compound c was separated from Juniperus genus for the first time.Conclusion: This method could conveniently and effectively separate flavonoids from Juniperus sabina L.
